Industry Overview

Martial arts is one of the most popular activities in the UK, for both children and adults. The leisure industry is forecasted to expand over the next decade, with the martial arts industry being one of the fastest growing areas in this sector.
In the past martial arts were taught by amateur instructors, in places like church halls and leisure centres that could not help students reach their full potential and become leaders.
With our C.I.T Program this is all changing and students are now changing their passion into a well paid career, at the same time as raising the standards of martial art tuition.
At Martial Art Concepts we have invested ten's of thousands of pounds, and many years of research, with the top businesses, people and martial artists in the world to bring you the most comprehensive and complete Certified Instructor Training Program.

Instructor Training Testimonials

"I am currently a Level 10 "Black Belt" MAC kickboxer and have been training for 21/2 years. I am a member of the CIT Program to help improve my confidence, to learn how to mirror what I do and learn at the Academy in my everyday life, to have the potential of a career in martial art or even at MAC and to learn how to be a good teacher/instructor/mentor. I want to be the best I can be and know that I am achieving something worthwhile. I have been on the CIT Program for 6 months and it is already helping with my confidence, has allowed me to set realistic goals and achieve them rather than giving up and has given me an opportunity to look at myself, to improve my weaknesses, to have a more positive outlook and be more "problem solving" in my attitude." Lesley Jones C.I.T.

"I am currently a Level 10 "Black Belt" MAC kickboxer and have been training for 5 1/2 years I joined the AIT Program to increase my self belief and to achieve my goal of becoming an Assistant Instructor at MAC. This will allow me to become a better martial artist and be able to pass on my knowledge and experience to others. Eventually I want to become an Instructor under Group Chief Instructor. I want to become confident, have more self belief and become a MAC Instructor. I want to be able to expand my martial art skills, become a better martial artist and not only meet my potential but be able to show this to others. I have already begun to feel more confident and it's getting better all the time. I'm beginning to feel more comfortable and really enjoying the experience so far!" Myles Hession A.I.T.

"I am a MAC Kickboxing level 8 and have been training for 2 years. I joined the CIT Program to become an Instructor, to improve my knowledge of the arts, continue learning in order to develop myself further still and pass this on to others. The Program has been excellent and I am learning a lot about the arts but also how our "mind set" at the time can be passed on to others, to their determent or benefit. CIT has shown me that this is an on going journey of personal development and learning." Samantha Smith C.I.T.

"I have been training at MAC for just over 2 years and I'm a Brown Belt with two tags. I started training to learn how to defend myself on the streets if I was attacked but now I want to a Black Belt and one day an Instructor with my own students. I'm really enjoying AIT training so much because it's helping me get better at what I do." Sam Whittaker A.I.T.

"I am a Junior Black Belt and I joined the AIT Program so I could become an Instructor. I think this will help me later in life, if I want to become an Instructor and give me a better personal view of the martial arts. I think it will help me become a better Black Belt and I'll learn new things I didn't know." Oliver Williams A.I.T.

"I have been training for almost a year now and I'm a level 4 MAC Kickboxer. I am doing AIT to improve my own martial arts training and to make me realise my full potential. I want to be the best that I can be! I hope that one day I can teach students to help them see their full potential. I have had some amazing experiences training with our Chief Instructor and learnt so much." Lydon Bowles A.I.T.

"I am a Junior Black Belt and have been training since I was 11 years old. I have joined the AIT Program because I want to be an Instructor when I am older. I want this to be my job when I'm older so I want to learn to be an Instructor and open my own Academy. I'm really enjoying my training so far because it teaches you to look after yourself and to have self control. I want to be the best and I'm being taught by the best and only the best." Annalise Blackham C.I.T.

"I am a level 9 Kickboxer and have been training for 21/2 years. I joined the AIT Program to help me achieve my goals to develop my martial art skills to a greater level with better understanding. The AIT Program has allowed me to develop my understanding to help me communicate what I have learnt to others or at least have the opportunity to improve myself and skills to do so. The experience of the AIT Program is helping me in my martial art development as well as my personal and business out look." Nadim Hussain A.I.T.
