About Martial Arts West Midlands

Martial Art Concepts has been established for over 15 years and is now the West Midland's biggest full time martial arts group with academies in Halesowen and Dudley.
MAC began in the Leasowes Leisure Centre when Academy Group Chief Instructor and Founder, Paul Kelly, began teaching our very first students. It always been Paul Kelly's wish to be a world class martial artist and he had already accomplished this by the time MAC had been "born", having trained for over 15 years with the world's best martial arts instructors. So now was the time to build an academy where everyone could take advantage of all the benefits martial arts has to offer, from children to adults, in the best facilities available.It wasn't long before Martial Art Concepts opened its first full time academy in Forge Lane, Halesowen, which is where we are today. Our Principal Academy has seen many changes over the years and taught thousands of students. Our Halesowen facility is now a fully equipped martial arts academy with the latest safety equipment and student facilities. MAC Halesowen also has dedicated full time staff, instructor and coaching team ensuring we deliver a world class martial art and service to all our students.

In 2006, it was time for Martial Art Concepts to increase the availability of the benefits of our martial arts training by opening another facility and shortly after Martial Art Concepts opened its Dudley Academy in Dudley Port. MAC Dudley is now well established fully staffed and equipped Academy and offers the same world class martial art and service as our Halesowen Academy.
So today, Martial Art Concepts is the biggest Martial Arts Group in the West Midlands, offering the latest facilities and world class tuition from professional Instructors. MAC takes great pride in placing an emphasis on helping its students and their families learn together. Our Instructors are also recognised under our Warrior Scholar Program, which is accredited by Chartered Psychologist Dr Ged Lombard and the only Program of it's type to be used in schools, and are also approved by Sandwell MBC and Dudley MBC's Sport Coaches Providers Association.
